We recognize that many users of this site prefer to keep their information confidential. We take your privacy seriously, so we’ve taken precautions to ensure the protection of all users. Here’s an outline of how we protect your privacy:
- What happens when I request baptism? All requests on this site simply generate a new “ticket” with the information you provide on the form. That ticket is then reviewed by a site administrator who then either responds directly to you via the ticket (generally by email), or the site administrator will assign your ticket to another baptism administrator in your area who may be better suited to provide assistance. The administrator will reach out and make the necessary arrangements directly with you from there. The information in your ticket is never public and never shared beyond the scope of administering the ordinance. Once the ordinance is complete the ticket is closed and removed from the requests system.
- Who can view my information? Information submitted to this site can only be viewed by site administrators and select approved baptizers who have been vetted and verified.
- What information is visible? Baptizers can only view the information you provide, including your name, location, and details of your request. They will respond to you directly through the ticketing system which handles all the transactions and electronic communications.
- What happens after I am baptized? The ticket is closed and removed as a pending request from the system. There is no expectation of participation or “joining” any congregation or church.
We encourage you to visit the Recorder’s Clearinghouse to have your name added to the annual record book. This step allows your baptism to be recorded on earth and in heaven. It does not make you part of any church or organization. The record is kept confidential. Visit the link above for more details.
If you wish to join with others in fellowship, you can begin that process at The Fellowship Locator site.
We hope these steps will help everyone feel comfortable using this site to both receive and provide the blessings of baptism, according to the Doctrine of Christ.
