The Lord has invited all to come unto Him and be baptized unto repentance.

Repent all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me, and be baptized in my name, and have faith in me, that ye may be saved. (Moroni 7:34)

Now this is the commandment: Repent, all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me and be baptized in my name, that ye may be sanctified by the reception of the Holy Ghost, that ye may stand spotless before me at the last day. (3 Nephi 27:20)

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How will the baptism be performed?
    Baptism is done by immersion.
  1. What should I bring/wear?
Wear whatever clothing you feel is appropriate for a sacred ordinance. You may also wish to bring a towel and a change of clothing.
  1. Can I still participate if I’ve already been baptized?
Yes.  Whether you have previously been baptized, or have never been baptized, you are invited to repent and receive this baptism.
  1. What church are you affiliated with?
We are not acting as agents for any church.  Those performing baptisms have been authorized by the Lord to do so.
  1. Is there a place I can worship on the Sabbath?
Yes. There are a growing number of fellowships throughout the US and other parts of the world.  You can find one near you by clicking on this link.  These fellowships believe in the doctrine of Christ, and desire to follow Him by seeking for truth and obeying His words.
  1. If I can’t make it that particular Sunday, is there another time I can be baptized?
Yes.  You can request baptism through this website. Once connected with someone in your area, you can determine a time a place that suits your needs.

  1. Does the baptism cost money?
No. Paul said, “What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.” (1 Cor. 9:18)Aurora Reservoir does, however, require a $10 self-service parking fee. This is a state-imposed fee, and is unfortunately a consequence of our having determined this reservoir as the most accessible location for these baptisms. If you cannot afford to pay the $10 parking fee, but still desire baptism, please contact us.
  1. Who can I contact to ask specific questions?
